Angelica

Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress, who is also a TV hostess and comedian. Panganiban is regarded as the queen of Drama in numerous media. Her versatility and her experience in the field of acting is widely recognized. The name angelica roots suggests that the root of the plant is used. But, most A. archangelica herbal products and supplements contain fruit, seeds and/or flowers. A majority of Sinensis products only contain the root. Angelica competed in season 12 of America's Got Talent, where her performance of Rise Up (by Andra) got her to the auditions. Angelica received a Golden Buzzer on the Judge Cuts stage after she performed Girl on Fire Alicia Keys. Chris Hardwick was the guest judge. In the Live Shows, she performed Clarity (by Zedd) in the quarterfinals, as well as Without You (by David Guetta) to make it into the Semifinals. Angelica was able to make it to the Finals and performed Symphony by Clean Bandit. She sang Stronger, along alongside Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi during the results. It was her first time as a contestant to ever place second. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, became very sick in 2012 due to an infection caused by strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale in ECMO Life-Support when she urgently needed life-saving medical intervention. She went septic and experienced numerous organ failures, which included the kidneys that did not fully recover. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis changed her life to a new normal. After spending over 80 days in the hospital, she went from being in danger of death to an extended recovery path. After a year and a half of dialysis Angelica was able to undergo the most significant operation of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her own mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica together with her mom, underwent successful kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were located right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star ever since.
